Our only gentleman member has again won a prize for his exquisite embroidery – John Clarke won the Madeira competition at the Fashion & Embroidery Show in March at the NEC and has received the wonderful prize for Hand Embroidery of a large collection of threads and the Madeira Rose Bowl – shown here in the photograph. WELL DONE JOHN.
The Branch meets on the second Saturday of every month at the Parbold Village Hall, The Green, Parbold, Lancashire (just off the M6 at Junction 27).
Doors open at 2p.m for 2.30p.m
We have a varied programme of Talks, Demonstrations and Hands-on sessions .
In addition we run 3 or 4 full day workshops throughout the year on separate Saturdays to our main meeting.
New members and visitors are always welcome - do come along to see what we do.
