Kate Bufton will be our speaker this month with a talk entitled –
'Book Transformations - Get into the Mind of a Book Artist'
She will speak about her life as a book artist; where her ideas come from and her inspiration. Where she started & where she is now, with her creative journey in between.
By altering the original form of books through various cuts and folds they are transformed from a carrier of text to an object of Art.
The Branch meets on the second Saturday of every month at the Parbold Village Hall, The Green, Parbold, Lancashire (just off the M6 at Junction 27).
Doors open at 2p.m for 2.30p.m
We have a varied programme of Talks, Demonstrations and Hands-on sessions .
In addition we run 3 or 4 full day workshops throughout the year on separate Saturdays to our main meeting.
New members and visitors are always welcome - do come along to see what we do.
