The aim of the day workshop is to produce a quilted wall hanging depicting an owl, which is made by appliquéing cut out pieces of fabric to a base ground using bondaweb, and machine/hand stitch to fix.
The cost of the workshop will be £25 for EG members & £30 for non members; this will include all fabrics, bondaweb & design material.
You will only have to bring a pencil, small sharp scissors which can be used to cut fabric & through paper as well.
If using a sewing machine, which must have a darning or free machinery foot, please bring suitable threads (variegated would be great) & if hand stitching bring suitable hand threads & needles.
