This meeting will be led by Sue Chisnall when we will be exploring ‘The Wonders of Brusho’ and ‘Marbling with Foam’.
This will be one of three Hands-On sessions, in which you will colour cotton fabric with a selection of colours using Brusho, and marble patterns onto cotton fabric/paper using acrylic paints & shaving foam.
The coloured/patterned fabrics will be used in further sessions as backgrounds for simple stitch & finally a made piece eg: bag or book cover etc.
Requirements for the day -
Cotton fabric – 2 pieces of pre-washed plain white cotton fabric approx. 16”x12”.
Cotton fabric – 2 x A4 pieces of pre-washed plain white cotton fabric.
4small plastic bags to take work home as fabric may be wet.
Rubber/plastic gloves (optional)
Apron or old clothes.
Old used credit card for scraping.
