In case anyone doesn’t know what this is – a small group of members decided to support this charitable project to make quilts and blankets for children in hospital or care, after having a speaker to the branch some time ago.
Angela McLarnon is now running this and at our meeting on February 9th, she launched a new ‘patchwork pack’ with full instructions and cut fabrics, and she had purchased new wool for the knitted blankets – all seemed to be very popular as many had been taken by the end of the afternoon.
Anyone else interested in working one of these kits should contact Angela at the next meeting.
We also received a lot of newly completed work and Angela would like to pass on her thanks to everyone for their response at the meeting - - -

We think there are still some items which were taken some time ago that have not been returned, so please let Angela know if you have one of these.
