EXHIBITIONS

We now have 10 members who belong to local exhibiting groups and they all have exhibitions coming up in April – as follows -

NEW PROGRESSION
A new group formed by  students from Preston College who completed their C&G last year – including our members Pat Bean, Sue Chisnall, Caroline Percy and Tracey Ramsey. 
We wish them well as this will be their first exhibition entitled ‘ECHOES OF NATURE’ - on display from 19th April to 22nd June at the Drumcroon Gallery, Parsons Walk, Wigan – open Monday to Friday.  For more details 01942 321840.

ONE STEP ON
This group has been established for several years now and includes our members Sue Abbot, Karen Hurrell, Sandie Meher and Monica Selway.  
Their exhibition is entitled ‘A STITCH IN TIME’  and can be seen at the ‘Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts’ show (stand ZB21) at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool from 23rd to 25th April. Open 9.30 to 5.30 (5p.m on Sunday).

PRESTON THREADS
Another group, established 21 years ago, will also be exhibiting at Aintree (Stand ZA19) with an exhibit entitled ‘THREADS OF COLOUR’ which includes pieces by Pat Fisher and Sandra Kedzlie.
I will be there on Sunday – hope to see some of you then.

Do go along and give your support to the members who will be showing their work at these venues, especially the new group ‘Natural Progression’ as it is always quite a daunting task launching a first exhibition.
